COVID-19 UPDATE: 48 new cases in NMI
Forty-eight additional individuals have been confirmed positive for COVID-19, bringing the CNMI total to 4,166 cases since March 26, 2020. The individuals have been isolated and are actively monitored. Of the 48 cases identified on Jan. 20, 2022:
21 were identified via contact tracing, 17 via community testing, and 10 via travel testing.
