Fire chief Pua is appointed DFEMS commissioner
Gov. Arnold I. Palacios has appointed Fire chief Juan A. Pua to be the commissioner of the Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services. Pua’s appointment requires Senate confirmation.
In his memorandum Tuesday, Palacios said that Pua will be the acting DFEMS commissioner until the Senate confirms his appointment.
Pua is a veteran DFEMS firefighter.
