Guam Guard airmen depart for border duty

Airmen from the Guam Air National Guard recently departed en route to Yuma, Arizona, in support of Operation Guardian Support at the Southwest Border. (GUAM NATIONAL GUARD)

Ten airmen from the Guam Air National Guard departed last week en route to Yuma, Arizona, in support of Operation Guardian Support at the Southwest Border.

They will be tasked with providing operational support for domestic operations at the southern border between the United States and Mexico.

These airmen will be performing this Southwest Border mission for approximately three months.

Keep in mind that there are still Guam Air National Guard airmen from the 254th Air Base Group, the 254th Security Forces Squadron and the 254th Force Support Squadron who are currently deployed or supporting missions around the world. (PR)
