Hope you enjoyed Macau
I hope you and the 15 lawmakers who maneuvered this vote to ensure no one could contest it could perform simple arithmetic because you surely don’t think this will fix anything. If you do, you are as ignorant of the facts as the retirees you so shamelessly exploited. To those representatives who instigated and engineered this under-the-table sweetheart deal, I hope you enjoyed the trips and other incentives, courtesy of these Hong Kong shysters, because we the people are going to do all we can to make sure you are not back in the House come November. What the CNMI desperately needs right now are honest, educated, worldly men and women with integrity, ethics, and character, and we will get it come November. Enjoy it while you can. To all who voted for these guys, they got what they paid for, a total sellout of Saipan. We also need 3,800 retirees to learn how to subtract so they can figure out how long it will be before their retirement totally runs out. It will be long before any casino gets built and with only 5 percent tax, it will be forever before the people of the CNMI see any money from this whole shady deal. Every single ethical person in the CNMI will be working to throw you bums out come November. Check every candidate and pick ones with the education, worldliness, integrity, ethics, and with empathy and vote them in. You should also vote for every woman running; they are proven to be less corruptible than men. To everyone that hasn’t registered but is eligible, registration closes Oct. 6 so please register, and then vote to clean up the CNMI.
Gary DuBrall
Chalan Piao, Saipan
Wow, Mr. Dubrall is so intelligent he is a very successful man who has helped thousands if not millions of people through his generosity and saintly heart. He is a perfect person who does no wrong and has all the perfect answers for everything. He is accusing all those legislators who voted for the casino of corruption and I’m pretty sure he has all the conclusive evidences to prove his accusations are 100% accurate and in no way misleading. As a matter of fact he will turn all these evidence to the FBI for immediate grand jury indictment and speedy trial. We should be seeing casino supporters behind bars before election day because Mr. Dubrall is perfect and is never wrong. Oh by the way, Mr. Dubrall will be releasing his revenue generating plan soon to save the retirement programs and settle all government liabilities within 3-5 months, guarantee!!! After all, he is from the United States of America and folks from there are far superior and intelligent than any indigenous person from the CNMI and he knows what’s good for the CNMI. Mr. Dubrall, you are our SAVIOR and thank you for stepping forward for the immediate elimination of all corrupted legislators and life-time prosperity of the CNMI. Sorry Ambrose Bennett, Glen Hunter and Ed Propst but Mr. Dubrall has a better solution than all of you combined. Long-live Gary Dubrall!!!
Ronald or Ron, Thank you for writing so eloquently!!
Mr. Santos,
Mr. DuBrall speaks of the truth and nothing but the truth. Are you so blind that you don’t have clues on what is happening at the CNMI Legislature? First of all, you should give credit to Mr. DuBrall for speaking up for the commoners in the CNMI. Maybe you are one of the elitist like Peter Cruz, who had been given high government positions on a silver plate all his life for being connected to the elected few. Are you crying foul play when Mr. Eric was being nominated to the CUC Board? Guest what? Peter seems to be setting up for his family to follow his foot steps within our government. He seems to think that he is smarter than anyone else.
Mr. Santos you should re-evaluate your sentiment towards Mr. DuBrall, because we need people like him to have the guts to speak up for the betterment of the whole throughout the CNMI. Please don’t accused Mr. DuBrall of having mainlander mentality or being more intellect than us islanders. We have people like Mr. Peter a local who thinks he is smarter than us other islanders (commoners).
Your opinions toward Mr. DuBrall does not reflect ours, so Mr. Dubrall we are behind you one hundred percent and we hope that your writing will not stop due to narrow minded individuals like Mr. Santos.
Then good for you Jun. Continue to allow others to say how dumb and stupid and corrupt we (including you) are. The CNMI may never be perfect the way you want it but to me its my home and my children’s home and I won’t let anyone tell me otherwise that my home is nothing but shit. If you want to improve something, especially as an outsider, exercise some common respect and humility so that others will listen. For all I care, you can pack up and follow Mr. Dubral wherever he may be now and enjoy yourself the rest of your life.
Buenas ronald santos,
I apologized if I offended you on my comments above, but we need to start addressing issues that affecting our island chain. I am not saying we are all dumb and stupid. It is hard for one of us to stand up for what is right in our society, because we are all related in the island chain somehow and somewhere. I agree with Mr. Dubral.s assessment on our island chain and I will support his allegation for there are merits on what he was describing our culture. No society is perfect in the world, but we need to work as team to better our society. Noone is telling anything about you or your home, because the islands you call home does not below to you, it belongs to everybody who resides on our island chain. Remember that we are in a Political Union with the United States and their laws are supreme law of our land excluding the rights to own property. I had many of my buddies paid the ultimate price protecting your rights and my rights as a citizen of the United States. Mr.Dubral is entitle to his opinions and I happen to agree with the person.
My parents, my grandparents, my great grandparents, my great great grand parents were from the Mariana Island Chain and I am entitle of the privileges that you are being afford as a CNMI Descent. You as a person has no authority to be telling any United States Citizens to pack and leave our islands, because each one of us are guaranteed protection under 14th Amendment of the United States Constitution.
Mr. Santos, I grew up in the United States and I had been discriminated on a daily basis. I had been told to go back to my country of origin and all these years I suck it up. May you refrain from telling other United States Citizens in our island chain to pack and leave, you are showing the whole wide world that we are bunch of races locals. What ever we write on the media in the CNMI, it is being monitor by the United States Government and there will be repercussion in the future for us as locals. Be aware that what ever you write in the internet, the whole world can see it and your actions would be interpret as hostile towards United States Citizens in our island chain and we don’t need such negative attitude towards our people.
Mr. Santos, I am one of the people who would like to make change in our island chain and I apologized again if I offended you in anyway. I want change so bad that I am planning to run for public office in the near future. Instead of you telling me to pack up and leave, let us joined our resources to make the CNMI a better place. And for starters, I am willing to use one of my houses in Saipan and Tinian to house our homeless community and we need to come up with a solution to provide mass transportation for our underprivileged and working poor, let us incorporated a non-profit organization to help our people. Lets try not to belittle each others opinion and let us try to make a different for the poor people in the CNMI. We can not depend on our government to do everything for our society and that is when you and I come into the picture. I can live with a dollar a month in the CNMI. Been there done that. Can you?
Take care chelu.
