Not the golf courses
The idea to sell our land to investors is okay but not the golf courses please. I think the government should look into the idea of doing a joint venture with the present operators and sell a lifetime membership. By doing this, we will attract golfers as repeaters, the government can still collect its intended amount of cash or even more and the best part is, we do not lose control over the land and can still maintain or provide our people the benefit to enjoy local discount privileges. Otherwise, local golfers can kiss their golf sets goodbye since it will not be affordable to play anymore. Only the elite will probably play once in a while. Think about it! By the way, I noticed that majority of our leaders are sold to the idea. My question is, what about me? Why can’t I sell my land too?
