Racism is everywhere
I do concur that racism is everywhere. Although, I am not sure if racism will disappear or decrease. Racism is a part of biology, no matter how much we want to deny it. The main cause to racism is fear or hatred of the unknown. Part of the unknown are things that are different. As a species we cling on stability, so when something different comes along we get scared. Trying to persuade the younger generation into accepting each other as equals, in my opinion, seems futile. As a part of that younger generation, we like to classify ourselves. We will always find others different because we don’t want to be the same as the them.

Racism is about fear of losing identity, the passion to protect heritage, customs and traditions. When a nation realizes that heritage might be compromised, lost or disappearing a stand is needed to balance multiculturalism. Some immigrants from third world countries will commit fraud, bribe, or would do anything pursue greener pastures and social instability causes havoc add in financial burden and cost to hosting nations! However as long as lynching or harm is not directed to others racism keeps one’s country great! Alex de Torque was sent to America during the early 1900’s when the statue of Liberty was erected and donated by France. ” America will never achieve democracy” his final report back to France concluded….we just wonder if it’s true. In essence a trend of racism has exploded in US mainland. “Black Lives Matter” is a proof of racism. Whence we all belief that now….all lives matter and let’s make CNMI great!
