Who not to vote for governor
In a couple of weeks, voters need to make a major decision on the CNMI’s future. The governor will make or break the CNMI. Voters need to look at the past history of the candidates. Two of the candidates are former governors.
Former governor Babauta claimed that the CNMI economy was “pretty darn good” during his term. Was that true or was he simply ignoring the facts and ignoring reality? He purchased La Fiesta, which is why the CNMI government paid millions of dollars on lease payments for nothing. The CNMI lost a lot of money as a result of his poor decisions. Babauta was recently replaced as CHC CEO for his failure. Remember that he got his job by endorsing Benigno Fitial after he ran against him and lost. Babauta seems to be an opportunist, always looking out to make big money from the CNMI government. After he loses the general election he will probably look to endorse the candidate who can give him a top government post again.
Inos stood by as lieutenant governor while former governor Benigno Fitial abused his power. Inos agreed with Fitial’s failed leadership so much that he decided to run by his side in the last election as lieutenant governor. Inos stood by as Fitial threatened to make the people of Rota and Tinian suffer. Inos should have stood up for the people instead of letting Fitial do whatever he wanted to. A true leader would have fought against Fitial’s abuse of power. It shows that Inos is only running to keep his power so that it can benefit him and his supporters only.
Voters should look at the history of the former and current governor. Just ask yourselves, do we want more of the past 12 years or do we want a new direction?

Mr. Aldan you need to ask the Board of Regent at the College why La Fiesta was bought by the Government. You ask Former Judge Jesse Borja, Attorney Vince Seman and Calvin Guerrero because they will tell you that its was them that force Former Governor Babauta to purchase La Fiesta for the College. On the CHC-CEO.. Would you believe that Mr. Babauta was able to run the Hospital from the $5 million appropriation from the Legislature when the Hospital really needs $40 million? That is incredible that Mr. Babauta did for the Hospital and he should be congratulated for doing it. You know what is the big reason why the CHC board wants to terminate Mr. Babauta? because they want to Micro manage the hospital and Mr. Babauta would not allowed them. That is the only reason…
Tony Boy, before you open your mouth please get your record straight. Find out from the people who knows best. La Fiesta was purchased by the GOvernment through the consistent request by the Board of Regent to be used to attract foreign students. Ask Former Judge Jesse Borja, Calvin Guerrer and Attorney Vince Seman and they will tell you the truth…On the CHC..CEO..We have to give credit to Mr. Juan Nekai Babauta for using his management skill to run the hospital with the bare $5 million given by the Legislature when the hospital really needs $40 million to operate…CHC board wants to Micro Manage the hospital and Juan Babauta don’t give them the chance to do their way.
no to “IT” and “BT”, and “HR”, biba democrats.
Looks like BABAUTA – TORRES is gaining momentum… https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=824420760941806&set=gm.599748556797098&type=1&theater
