The voucher helps everyone, not just a few consultants
The $10 million was part of the community contribution that was promised by Best Sunshine. I am surprise that many of the Heinz and Yumul supporters do not agree with direct benefits to our community in which the money is not only realized by but directly benefits our people. Heinz and Yumul su supporters come up with this idea that the money should go to the Public School System, CUC’s pipeline project or other infrastructure.
With equal and direct contribution, everyone will receive a benefit regardless whether you are Independent, Republican, Democrat or neither of the three. There will be no highly paid consultants, attorneys, engineers and other experts who will get the lion’s share of the money. There will be no few businesses who will make a substantial profit out of the $10 million. There will be no off-island contractors and there will be no hardware store that will benefit. There will be no middle man who will get any commission.
Instead, the money will directly reach every household and family of the CNMI. Thank you for the contribution and this is much appreciated.
I don’t care what all the dirty politics is doing. I am sticking with my previous decision and I am going for IT!

Is the dirty politics you talk about the release of retirees money and issuance of cuc vouchers before the elections, and that you choose to vote for dirty politics anyway? Or is it about situations that has happened in every administration here since the beginning of time? Not everyone is a retiree and not everyone is a cuc customer so I don’t know where you got the information that every family received assistance. You are happy with $635? BS must be ecstatic with 40 years.
Ai Pattepareihu, all that is being said is that the issues are being solve by Solution Driven Leadership. Talk is cheap and we all can do that all day, all week, all year. However, for Governor Inos he simply delivers right on cue, whether it is before election or not. The fact of the matter is that he simply delivers!! So, criticize all you want but please do return the $635.
I signed the CUC form of refusal for this paltry bribe including all future bribes from BS/IT two weeks ago and the credit was removed from my account. You are right about the timing of the bribe though, delivered right on cue before the elections. I will continue to criticize all I want, thank you for the encouragement.
HENRY, RIGHT YOU ARE…THIS IS TRULY A WIN-WIN SITUATION, ONE THAT IS FREE OF ANY FAVORITISM SINCE EVERYONE BENEFITED FROM IT. SO HOW COULD THIS GOOD BE BAD, I ASK ALL DETRACTORS. IT IS ALL THE WAY!
What a Looser you are Henry U. Hofschneider!!!!!!
Ai Guardian, the truth really hurts hah? Every time something good is done for our community, there is always someone there to criticize it, all the time. To call Henry a looser, he must have really hurt your feelings because even Heinz’s cousin is not supporting him publicly. Just think of it, Hofschneider is not supporting Hofschneider… Man, Heinz really has some personal and family problems and because of the dirty assults he and his supporters are doing to the IT team, the dirty laundries are coming out now. Good JOB HY!! By the way, Strike Three and you’re OUT!!! Game over during the Run Over.
Buenas Guardian,
It pays to register or register our constituents in the United States for the CNMI 2014 General Election. If we were not mistaken and to be exact, it was a total of seven individuals and your boss lost the election by seven votes.

yes, it is true that it helps the communinty, but what is 1 month of CUC compared to 10 million to the public school system that can help future generations at least for 5 years.
By the way, I dare you and all the whiners to refund the $632 back to the CUC so that it could be used by PSS for its electrical billing. Come on’, I dare you!!

Really?? Every penny of it will reach our students..really??? Almost half of PSS administrative funds are spent by the Commissioner the Board of Education on TRAVEL. The Commissioner is constantly looking at possible functions in the states that is scheduled around her personal needs like her children’s graduation, birthday, or Thanksgiving.. I bet she already has a travel authorization to fly out to a function near her family in the states around Thanksgiving day…
Buenas Henry,
After talking to higher up, are you sure you are voting for the candidates you mention above? You may say who you want to vote, but when it comes down to the real thing, you may have a different agenda. Please spare us, the one and only underprivileged citizens. Your kind says something and do different otherwise.

Not all HOFSCHNEIDERS are like Heinz. Henry is more on point and I admire him. Good Job Henry. . .
Buenas grandslam,
We would believe it if we see it in our own eyes. Politic is unforgiven at times in the CNMI, especially if you are looking forward for a slice of the pie. Have you heard of guilty by association?
Si Yu’us Ma’ase
Ai talo, another oxymoron professor in the house. Talking to higher ups???? How about talking to Lower Downs.
Ai adai Ronald,
I did not know that I am a wanna be oxymoron professor. I take criticism in good stride.
For your information, we go over the election results in our voting district, and we find ways to improve the odds against us the next time around. Based on our analysis, there were discrepancies with the result. There were evidences of back stabbing within. You would learn the political games in the CNMI in the future to come.
My bad about higher ups. From now on, I will say “Lower Downs” in reference to the elected officials.
Take care chelu.

THANK YOU, Henry and you hit it right to the truth and yes, the money will never reach the poor needy families if they get through the system like what HY camp wants to do. . . it’s not even their money and they are complaining why it’s going to all the families. Awesome article.
So tell me, how is it that if the 10 million is given to PSS it will benefit my child directly 100%? Will students come home with new bag packs or case of pens and pencils or maybe a voucher for fuel for those who drop off their kids to school everyday? What about students in private schools? Do I trust that the government will spend the money wisely and better than I can? No I don’t. The money was distributed in a way that it will reach every residence so that everyone will benefit. The ones without kids that go to school too will benefit because most, if not all, have CUC account. And the ones without accounts will receive checks if they show proof at CUC that they have alternative power supply. And if you so believe that it should go to PSS, take the $632 that was awarded to you and give it BOE. With my share, I have the option to buy notebooks and pencils for my kids, fill up my fuel so I can drop them to school or buy school clothes. Thank you Best Sunshine!
we are focused on politics but let’s think about accountability and sheer public service from the govt. It will be nice if there is some transparency. How many customers does CUC have?/ with the $635 credit to billing, will this amount to $10M? where is the rest of the monies? is there any plan? This is what we call short lived joy, does not really address the community woes……think!
My understanding is the vouchers would go to individual CUC accounts. So what portion do you think is going to wealthy landlords who have multiple accounts in their name vs. individual single accounts?
Got bought by a measly 600 smackaroos?! Ai nanalo! Not even that can cover for a years worth of TP….
