KHS progress reports out
Kagman High School will be hosting its first progress report of the year on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 4pm to 6pm, in the KHS cafeteria. KHS will take the remaining progress reports to the north at Tanapag Middle school on Nov. 7 from 4pm to 5:30pm. (PR)
Military to conduct trainings
SANTA RITA, Guam—Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 will conduct training on Nov. 4, in outer Apra Harbor, from 5pm to 9pm.
HSC-25 will also conduct training on Nov. 5-7, at Radio Barrigada, from 9pm to 11:55pm.
The Air Force will conduct training on Nov. 4-7 at Warning Area 13BC, from 10am to 6pm.
This training supports aircrew combat readiness and is critical to developing the skills needed to respond to operational missions throughout the region to ensure a stable, free, and open Indo-Pacific.
For the duration of the exercise, it is recommended the public, fishermen, and marine tour operators remain clear of the following coordinates: 15° 50″N/146° 50″E, 14° 54″N/146° 50″E.
The U.S. Navy will conduct open-ocean exercises within a 10-nautical-mile radius of the coordinates 13˚26”N/145˚08”E and 13˚42”N/144˚36”E during the following dates and times:
• Nov. 4, from 6pm to 10pm
• Nov. 5, from 12pm to 6pm
• Nov. 6, from 9pm to 11:55pm
• Nov. 7, from 6pm to 10pm
U.S. Naval Base Guam Security Forces will conduct training on Nov. 5, from 7am to 3pm, in outer Apra Harbor.
It is recommended the public, fishermen, and marine tour operators monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories.
These types of trainings are designed to enhance the readiness of military personnel. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity associated with the training. (PR)
