Water service outage in Kannat Tabla, Chalan Kiya, Navy Hill
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the public that there is an emergency water service interruption (low pressure to no water) for customers in the following areas: the higher elevations of Kannat Tabla, Chalan Kiya, and upper and lower Navy Hill.
This is due to low water tank levels at the Kannat Tabla, Puerto Rico, and Calhoun water tanks. CUC operators are currently working to transfer water from nearby water tanks in order to supplement the low water tank levels in the affected areas.
Water service to the Kannat Tabla and Chalan Kiya areas is anticipated to be restored today, Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, at 2pm.
Water service to the upper and lower Nany Hill areas is anticipated to be restored on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, at 4pm.
