Softball tourney postponed
MHS Class of 1983 softball tournament this coming June 30, 2012, will be postponed until further notice. (PR)
Tinian, Rota beaches get green flag
The Division of Environmental Quality analyzed water samples collected from Tinian and Rota’s recreational beaches and storm water drainages this week as part of a regularly scheduled sampling. None of the samples collected contained excessive concentrations of fecal indicator bacteria nor did they exceed the CNMI Marine Water Quality Stands. DEQ assigns all of the sampled beach sites a green flag.
The division analyzed samples of marine recreational and storm drainage water from 10 locations on Saipan and 11 locations on Rota this week. For more information, contact DEQ at 664-8500. (DEQ)
