Kagman School PTSA meeting cancelled
We regret to inform the Kagman School’s stakeholders, that the PTSA meeting will not be held in this month of March. The meeting originally scheduled March 17 is canceled. The next meeting will be held on April 21 from 5pm to 6pm at Kagman Elementary School. Thank you for your understanding. Auditions for the hit musical ‘Hairspray’ on March 17 and 19
Friends of the Arts is holding auditions for “Hairspray” on March 17 and March 19. Roles are available for ages 11 to 40+. All should come prepared to sing as well as read for the audition.

Military to conduct training at W-517, FDM
ASAN, Guam—The Navy and Coast Guard will conduct training at Warning Area 517 during the following dates and times:
• March 15-17 from 8am to 10pm
• March 18 from 8am to 6:30pm
The Navy and Air Force will conduct training at the island of Farallon de Medinilla during the following dates and times:
• March 14 and 17 from 9am to 9pm
• March 15-16 and 18 from 9:30am to 9pm
The general public—especially fishermen, commercial pilots, and marine tour operators—are advised to stay clear of the area during the dates and times indicated.
W-517 is activated south of latitude 12° 40’ 00”N. All vessels are advised to remain clear of W-517 south of latitude 12° 40’ 00”N. Santa Rosa Reef and Galvez Bank are open for public use. W-517 is an irregular shaped polygon comprising of 14,000 nautical square miles of airspace that begins south of Guam and extends south-southwest in international waters. W-517 supports surface and aerial gunnery, missiles, and laser exercises.
The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be on a 12-nautical mile radius on all quadrants. Farallon de Medinilla plays a special and unique role in national defense because its location provides frequent access that supports established training requirements. In addition, the air and sea space in the Farallon provides sufficient room for the many different attack profiles necessary to replicate training opportunities in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
