Public invited to Memorial Day today
The Office of the Governor and the Office of Veterans Affairs invite all military servicemembers, military families, and the public to attend the CNMI Memorial Day event today, May 31, 2021, at 9am at the Veterans Cemetery in Marpi. Gates open at 7:30am. The community is reminded to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines at the event. Temperature screening will be present on-site. (PR)
Notice to weightlifters
Weightlifters and those interested in weightlifting are being informed that a special meeting will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 9am, at the Oleai Sports Complex, Ada Gymnasium conference room. This meeting will focus on the 2022 Mini-Pacific Games, eligibility to compete, training facility, and other issues. If you are a weightlifter or interested in the sport of weightlifting, please attend. Do not miss this meeting if you are interested in competing or representing the CNMI in weightlifting competitions. (PR)
