Kagman school PTSA meeting tonight

Kagman High School’s PTSA will have a general meeting tonight, Oct. 27, 2014, at the Chacha Middle School, starting at 6pm. All Kagman High School parents will receive raffle tickets for attending. (PR)

Navy training at Warning Area 517

ASAN, Guam—The U.S. Navy will conduct training at Warning Area 517 from noon to 10pm on Oct. 28 to 29. The general public—especially fishermen, commercial pilots, and marine tour operators—are advised to stay clear of the area during the times and dates indicated.

W-517 is an irregular shaped polygon comprised of 14,000 nautical square miles of airspace that begins south of Guam and extends south-southwest in international waters. This will affect fishing in the vicinity of Santa Rosa Reef and Galvez Bank. (PR)

Veterans Day proclamation signing

The Military and Veterans Affairs Office is inviting all veterans, active and reserved military members, and the public to join them for the Veterans Day proclamation signing on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, at 10am at the Office of the Governor’s conference room. This year’s Veterans Day falls on Nov. 11, a Tuesday. (PR)
