Congratulations Dolores Pangelinan Kiyoshi on your promotion to command sergeant major. Even though thirty years ago some people counseled you to not enlist, you trusted your own mind about yourself and your role in life. And, even though you did not intend to become a role model for other Tinian women you actually are inspiration for local females – mothers, wives, daughters – to re-think their roles in how to best guide our islands’ future.
