Heinz and Yumul are not the change voters want

I am often surprised when I hear the Hofschneider-Yumul campaign say that 54 percent of the people voted against Inos-Torres. They even go as far as counting the voters who didn’t vote as an indication that they too are against IT. If this is how the HY camp understands math and the people’s desire, boy, are we heading for a disaster. This is even more troubling because the HY camp maintained those numbers even after Babauta and Guerrero fully endorsed the IT team. It is 100 percent a fact that Babauta and Guerrero supporters (of course not all but some, if not most) will be voting for IT.

The Babauta supporters believed in Babauta and likewise in Guerrero. Certainly, they do not necessarily support HY, as even their candidate do not believe in HY’s leadership.

HY doesn’t want to face the reality. They are behind by over 1,800 votes, lost the absentee votes by a landslide of 1,100 to only 600. They lost to IT in virtually all precincts. The youth voters are going for IT as the numbers are very telling.

Please stop… just stop… please… just stop saying that 54 percent are against IT because it is making the HY camp look like you don’t know what you’re doing.

  1. So is your shallowness the change we need slamming your head into the sand displaying your southern terminus in the air? For a young man, you should know better! Embarrassing.

    1. Buenas Ioanes,

Here you go again, whenever someone disagree with you, you would lash out on the individual with your academia. What you are doing is making us more resilient to prove you wrong. You should give Ian the benefit of the doubt and credit him for speaking his mind. Maybe it is about time for us young CNMI residents to put a stop to your candidate’s self interest in our CNMI Coffer.

When an individual belittles others, it is a sign of desperation and it is sad for an individual with your caliber would resort to demeaning our brothers and sisters in the CNMI. Like our father would say “Grow up and set an example,” sir.

Oh, excuse my English writing ability.

      Si Yu’us Ma’ase

  2. This guy is absolutely right. I guess HY is banking on the idea that 100% of the BT and GQ team will vote for them. Time to wake up and smell the coffee HY. Even some of your own team is supporting IT now. I’ll bet you my last dollar that Heinz will walk out on his campaign supporters yet again come early Saturday morning when the election results come out and he realizes he just lost by a land slide. Biba IT!!!

  3. FACT: AFTER EVERYTHING IS DONE AND SAID….AT THE END OF THE
DAY, YOU ARE ALL STILL BROTHERS IN ONE HOUSE.
IF A BAD STORM COMES TO CNMI, I KNOW WITH ALL
HEART, ALL HANDS ON THE DECK WITH BE HELPING.

NEGATIVE PEOPLE ARE NEVER HAPPY, THEY HAVE NO PEACE.
AND WHEN YOU LISTEN TO NEGATIVE TALK IT CAN TAKE AWAY
YOUR PEACE….AND MAKE YOU PHYSICALLY SICK.
