It’s so beautiful that a 9-year old artist, Kate King Manglona, wants to donate the sale of prints of her paintings to Saipan Cares for Animals. A big “thank you” to Kate!
I want to suggest also that a CNMI lawmaker or several lawmakers join the drive to help Saipan Cares for Animals. Not only does the nonprofit organization help the communities of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota take care of their animal pets, Saipan Cares for Animals can also help our tourism industry when the tourists start coming back to our islands. Saipan Cares for Animals takes care of healthy, sick, and abandoned animals. This is a major reason for the CNMI government to help the nonprofit organization. Can the government step forward and offer an abandoned garment factory and/or public land to help Saipan Cares for Animals? Reps. Sheila Babauta, Celina Babauta, Tina Sablan, Edwin Propst, Richard Lizama, and Sen. Vinnie Sablan, the CNMI communities of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota will appreciate any assistance from you. I am a retired educator who asks that the government, the Legislature, and concerned government agencies like Public Lands step forward to help Saipan Cares for Animals.
