Public hearing today on use of health grant
The Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant provides all 50 states, the District of Columbia, two American Indian tribes, and eight U.S. territories with funding to address their unique public health needs in innovative and locally defined ways. This program gives grantees the flexibility to use funds to fill funding gaps in programs that deal with leading causes of death and disability.
The CNMI Preventive Health & Health Services block grant public hearing will be held today, June 22 2017, at the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. in the Public Health and PHEPP conference room at 9am to collect public input on the use of fiscal year 2017 block grant funding for public health programming in the CNMI.
