The recent decision to conduct a meeting on Rota was clearly a means for the administration to get the government to pay for the travel so they could launch their GOP rally on Rota with roadside waving and it was not a coincidence. While this cannot be proven, the truth and the devil are in the details.
My question is: How long will the people of the CNMI put up with these ugly activities? The questionable act by the administration is the only question that needs to be answered in the coming election. Your votes are the determining factor on who should run our government and meet the people’s expectation with honesty and transparency.
We must protect our island and we must take back what have been abused for such a long time and fix it for good. The people of the Marianas deserve a better government.
If you want to be a good leader for the people, then you must possess the hearts and soul of the CNMI people. Never underestimate “the power of the people.” We may not have the power now, but in coming election, people’s power will rise and will determine who would be the captain of the ship that will lead us to a better Marianas.
