Solid waste division to collect new fees
The Division of Solid Waste Management under the Department of Public Works would like to inform the public, particularly commercial refuse haulers, that with the adoption of new updated and changed tipping fees on April 28, 2019, the DPW Division of Solid Waste Management will enforce the collection of the following fees:
Effective July 12, 2019: special waste and construction and demolition waste, dead animals, tires, e-waste, and appliance/white goods.
Effective Oct. 1, 2019: municipal and household solid waste, garment waste, and green waste.

SCC meeting next Wednesday
The Saipan Chamber of Commerce will have its monthly general membership meeting next Wednesday, July 10, at Hyatt Regency Saipan ballroom, featuring Kamana Mathur of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
The luncheon begins at 11:30am and with the meeting portion starting promptly at noon. Cost is $25 for Chamber members/$35 for non-members.
