Saipan municipal council sets Wednesday session

The 16th Saipan and Northern Islands Municipal Council will hold its 10th regular session on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021, at 10am at the Saipan and Northern Mariana Islands Municipal Council office at the Kiosku, Chalan Kanoa, Saipan. The meeting agenda will include the Municipal Council building project and Kiosku repairs project, as well as the proposed user fee for the kiosku. (PR)

DPS car seat program to be suspended until Sept.

The Department of Public Safety’s Highway Safety Office will be temporarily suspending the Child Restraint Purchase Assistance Program, also known as the “Car Seat Program,” effective Aug. 16, 2021, until the new fiscal year, which begins on Oct. 1, 2021.
