Saipan Little League baseball begins Feb. 27

Saipan Little League officials yesterday announced that the 2000 Little League Baseball Season will start on Sunday, February 27, 2000 at the San Vicente School Ball Field. The opening of the Junior League, Senior League and Big League will commence on Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000 at the Palacios Baseball Field.
All prospective managers and coaches are advised of the following dates for division meetings:
Feb. 8, Tuesday – Little League Division
Feb. 9, Wednesday – Junior League Division
Feb. 10, Thursday – Big League Division
Feb. 11, Friday – Senior League Division
All meetings will be held at the Little League Headquarters in Garapan at 6:00 p.m.
Also, league officials have pegged the entry fees at $450.00 and another $10 for insurance fee of each player which are payable to the Saipan Little League Baseball.
Managers, coaches or team representatives can obtain application forms at the Region Deputy Director’s Office in Lower Base or by calling 322-9451.
Deadline for submission of application forms and fees is on Feb. 25, 2000.
