District administrator election
The CNMI District 01 district administrator position is up for election as the term of current district administrator, James Ada, expires this year. Ada also serves as the Far East region deputy director under the leadership of Administrator Mamoru Itoh of Japan.
The election of the DA position will commence during the district tournament as all the chartered league representatives will be on island.
The qualifications for this position include serving in a local league preferably as a league president. Experience should include exposure to all facets of the local Little League operation. A candidate should be a resident of the district area. Must have sufficient time to devote to a multiplicity of district activities including attendance at district meetings and leadership training seminars.
Representative of Little League headquarters as well as local Little League must be knowledgeable of the principles of the program and policies, rules and regulations and have good judgement. Must have understanding of current channels of administrative procedure.
Form a district organization, call meetings, conduct district tournament and delegate responsibilities which are prudent and essential.
The term in office is elected for three years one-third each year by schedule.
