NMITF All Kids Triathlon

This is a reminder to all that the Northern Mariana Islands Triathlon Federation (NMITF) will be holding the 1st NMITF All Kids Triathlon on Saturday, February 24, 2001, at 7:00 a.m. at PauPau Beach. Registration will start at 6:00 a.m. and each child must register no later than 6:30 a.m. The triathlon will begin at 7:00 a.m. sharp.

The triathlon will consist of a short ocean swim at PauPau (swim goggles recommended), a bile ride at La Fiesta Mall (bike helmet mandatory) and, finally, a run at PauPau. If a child is not comfortable with all events, he or she can form a team.

All participants must be able to swim (unless part of a team), ride a bicycle and be prepared to have fun. The emphasis will be on fun and safety.

The entry fee is $2 per child. There are prizes for the first three finishers in each age category. The age categories will be divided from six years old through 15 years old. Prizes will be awarded after the triathlon is over at PauPau Beach.
