Emergency power outage today
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. is informing residential customers between Maturana Hill and Chalan Galaidi that a power outage is schedule in their area from 8:30am to 11:30am today.
CUC, through corporate communications staff David Sablan, said it would be shutting down Feeder 1 (3 Phase Lateral) for the purpose of replacing deteriorated utility poles and conductors. (PR)
Enrollment ongoing at GCA
Grace Christian Academy school year 2006-2007 registration for continuing students started on Feb. 22, 2006 and will run until March 10, 2006. Continuing students and their siblings are guaranteed a slot until March 31, 2006. Open enrollment begins on April 3, 2006. Completed enrollment packet must be submitted to the Registrar’s office along with all other required documents. A student is officially registered upon paying the registration fee and whose account is current. (PR)
PAWS meeting on March 15
Everyone is invited to attend PAWS (Pet Assistance & Welfare Services) annual general membership meeting set for March 15, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Pacific Islands Club’s Sunset Bar. Happy hour prices will be in effect for drinks at an open bar and there will be a buffet of snacks sponsored by PAWS. Distribution of tax forms set
The Division of Revenue and Taxation is informing all CNMI businesses that the distribution of the 2005 1120-CM Forms and Instructions is ongoing at the office of the Division of Revenue and Taxation located at Dandan Commercial Center.
All businesses are asked, to pick up the forms during regular business hours.
“Please be reminded that the deadline for filing 2005 1120-CM form is Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at 4:30pm,” the division added. (PR)
