The December musical salon sponsored by the Friends of the Arts (FOA) will feature the new Saipan Children’s Choir under the direction of Denise Hewitt with a performance of holiday music.

This month’s Salon is being held one week early in order to give the community art advance taste of the concert of the Saipan Chorale which will be held on Dec. 11 and 12 at the Kristo Rai Church in Garapan and the SDA Center in Chalan Laulau respectively

Featuring the Children’s Chorus, the Salon program will also include solos and small group performances. This will be an excellent way to get in the mood for the holiday season. Bring the whole family and enjoy the latest exhibit at the museum as well featuring photos and artifacts of the German Period (1899-1914) as well as other exhibits.

The salons are open to the public and take place inside the museum from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is no admission fee for members. The regular museum admission fee will be charged is $3.00 for adult non-members and $1.00 for students and those under 18. Non-members over 54 and under 2 years old are free.
