50-year-old Japanese drowns
A 50-year-old Japanese male drowned yesterday in front of the beach of Aqua Resort after the boat that his group was riding was knocked over around 11:00 a.m.
A 50-year-old Japanese male drowned yesterday in front of the beach of Aqua Resort after the boat that his group was riding was knocked over around 11:00 a.m.
The victim was with a group when sailed out to snorkel but the 11-foot boat they were riding got stuck on a rock. But as they tried to remove the vessel, the boat capsized and the victim fell.
Two lifeguards dispatched by the Boating Safety Division of the Department of Public Safety tried to revive the victim by performing CPR.
