PIA raises plane fare
As part of its commitment to improve passenger service, Northwest Airlink/Pacific Island Aviation, Inc. will be moving its Guam passenger departure and arrivals operation from the old commuter terminal to the modern main terminal of the Guam International Airport effective May 1st.
Operations from the main terminal on Guam will facilitate international connections for both CNMI residents traveling out bound and tourists desiring to visit the CNMI having first arrived on Guam.
Also effective the first of May, Northwest Airlink/Pacific Island Aviation, Inc. will be raising its full fare (“Y” class fare) to $69 one way between Saipan and Rota, Rota and Guam and Guam and Saipan. Following international fare increases, most recently by Japan Airlines, this adjustment is required to offset higher fuel and other operating expenses.
