The unique program that has been developed to reach out to children from all over the world has been proven to be a great success. Gathered together, the children learn to share and play together.

Among many daily activities, which include Tahitian dance lessons, arts and crafts, multiple swimming opportunities and kayaking, Camp Hyatt participants receive a well-rounded experience of the true essence of childhood, as well as learn the value of independence at an early age.

“Through field trips to Talafofo falls, farms, Pau Pau beach, Sugar King park, the Japanese Museum and Managaha Island, Hyatt campers are able to see the beauty of the island, and learn about the Commonwealth’s rich history,” said Camp coordinator Gloria Miller.

A visit to the Department of Public Safety and its traffic unit, as well as the Division of Customs bringing K-9 dogs for demonstration, has been an educational and enjoyable experience for the children, said Ms. Miller.

Camp Hyatt is drawing near to completing its fourth session. Starting July 23, Camp Hyatt begins its fifth and final session for the summer of 2000.

Organizers are inviting children aged between 3 and 12 years, who want to experience learning and fun the good way, to register for the fifth session of the Hyatt Camp’s Summer 2000 program.

Interested parents can call Club Elan at 234-1234 ext. 25 and 27.
