DPS Sobriety Checkpoints

This is to inform the general public that DPS will be conducting several Sobriety Checkpoints on Dec. 24, 2000 (Sunday), Dec. 29, 2000 (Friday) and Dec. 31, 2000 (Sunday).

Dec. 24, 2000

• The Checkpoint will be on Beach Road Chalan Lau Lau by Char’s Mart, between 4:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.

Dec. 29, 2000

• First Checkpoint will be on Beach Road Susupe by Multipurpose building between 9:00 p.m. and 0:15 p.m.

• Second Checkpoint will be on 2W Highway, Chalan Pale Arnold Road by Arizon Former MTC, between 11:30 p.m. and 12:45 a.m., Dec. 30, 2000.

• Third Checkpoint will be on Beach Road Garapan by Kristo Rai Church at 1:30 a.m., Dec. 30, 2000.

Dec. 31, 2000

• The Checkpoint will be on 2W Highway Pale Arnold Road by Central Park between 4:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.

DPS will also be conducting Massive Highway Criminal Interdiction (HiCi), Selective Traffic Law Enforcement (STLE) throughout the entire island on the dates mentioned above and previously.
