Ferry schedule revised

Tinian Shipping & Transportation, Inc. yesterday announced changes of the Ferry Schedule between Saipan and Tinian effective Monday, January 8, 2001.

The ferry will still run its normal six round trips daily. The changes of the times are as follows: the 6:30 p.m. departure from Tinian is now changed to 7:00 p.m. The 8:00 p.m. departure from Saipan is now changed to 8:30 p.m.

The rest of the times remain the same. The change of schedule is a move to ensure optimal operations during the evening rush hours, according to the shipping company in a media release.

The management also advised passengers to arrive at least 20 minutes before the departure time. Traveling time between the islands is approximately 55 minutes. There are courtesy shuttle buses from The Tinian Ferry Terminal to Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino.
