Suspects in Dec. 28 killing identified

Police have identified two suspects — a Filipino and a local in the attempted killing of a Bangladeshi security guard of H-Mart last Dec. 28 in Gualo Rai.

Investigators, however, refuse to reveal the names of the suspects pending the issuance of a warrant for their arrest.

Investigation showed that Alam Md. Monzurul, 27, was found seriously injured on the head after he was hacked by the two suspects at Woodhouse Restaurant. The victim is now recovering at the Commonwealth Health Center but his speech has been severely affected as a result of the head injury.
