HONIARA, Solomon Islands (PINA Nius) — Crocodiles are becoming an increasing problem for the people of Gao-Bugotu in Isabel Province.

A man from the area, Warren Sikilabu, told SIBC that crocodiles have grown in numbers.

He said they are attacking people and domestic animals such as pigs and dogs.

He said the government must be held partly responsible for introducing legislation that prohibits the killing and export of crocodiles.
