Man arrested for sexual slur

A Korean lady who apparently took offense to a sexual gesture emitted by a Chuukese man cried help from her husband which resulted in the arrest of Esiwilly Edwards last Wednesday.

Department of Public Safety spokesperson Cecil Celes reported yesterday the suspect entered the Zion Market in San Jose to use the phone when he started discharging what the victim termed as “licking” gestures.

The 37-year-old woman was manning the store counter at the time of the incident. The suspect reportedly told the victim in so many words, he was going to “lick her from the legs to her face.”

Fearing for her safety, the lady called on her husband for help who was at the back of the store. The husband then sought police assistance. When police arrived at the scene, Mr. Edwards was arrested for criminal trespass.

Cops in search for hungry suspects

Police are investigating the uncanny disappearance of an undisclosed quantity of lobster and meat at the Hafa Adai Hotel’s Teppan Yaki Restaurant early yesterday morning.

Restaurant attendants and staff reported to police the establishment was burglarized, noting suspects may have used two point of entry judging by the broken door hinges and a smashed glass window.

Authorities have already assigned crime scene technicians to document the place where the crime allegedly occurred. An arrest has yet to be made pending an investigation which has been forwarded to the CIB.
