Three new ESL courses at NMC

The Languages and Humanities Department of the Northern Marianas College will be offering three courses in Fall 2004 in its certificate program in Teaching a Second Language/Teaching a Foreign Language:

* LN 220–Introduction to Linguistics, on Fridays from 5pm-8pm in Room A-2. The instructor for this course will be Michael Nurmi.

* LN 230–Teaching a Second Language/Teaching a Foreign Language Theory and Methodology, on Saturdays from 1pm-4pm in Room A-2. The instructor for this course will be Vince Riley.

* LN 250–Teaching a Second Language/Teaching a Foreign Language Materials Development & Evaluation on Saturdays from 9am-12pm in Room A-2. The instructor will be Danny Wyatt.

The department will also be offering a new humanities course in Fall 2004: PI 101–Introduction to World Religions, on Tuesday and Thursday, from 11am-12:25pm in Room A-6. The instructor for this course will be Vince Riley.
