The scheduled water outages have been cancelled for the villages of Santa Rita and Agat on Guam, including the Navy’s housing areas. The boil water notice has also been lifted on the island.

This came about after significant improvement in the U.S. Navy water production and reserve capacity, according to a statement by the Navy.

Water conservation measures, such as turning off water when not in use, and putting off washing driveways or vehicles, are still encouraged. Inclement weather or a significant increase in water use could cause another water shortage.

Guam Waterworks Authority customers should contact GWA with any concerns or to report water leaks.
