GES HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL ON FRIDAY
The Garapan Elementary Student Council will be sponsoring a Halloween Carnival on Friday, Oct. 29, from 6pm to 9pm. Entrance to the carnival is free for those in costumes. There will be games, dances, a haunted house and food. Students look forward to showing the Mallard Spirit.

HOPWOOD JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL CULTURAL DAY
Saturday, Oct. 30 will be Cultural Day at Hopwood Junior High School. This is considered a regular school day to make up for one of our typhoon days. School will be held from 8am-2:45pm. Busing and meals will be provided. Students will stay with their homeroom teachers for the whole day. Parents and adult community members are welcome. Minors who are non-Hopwood students will only be allowed on campus with parental supervision. Unsupervised minors will be considered trespassing.
8am-8:30am – Homeroom for attendance
8:30am-11:30am: Performances at the stage area
11:30am-12:30pm: Lunch for all students and staff
12:45pm: Report to homeroom for second attendance
1:00pm-2:45pm: Homerooms return to the stage area
2:45pm: Dismissal
Report Card Day at Hopwood will be today, Oct. 28:
8am-1pm: School will be in session
3pm-6pm: Report cards can be picked up from the 1st quarter homeroom teachers. All teachers will be available for parent conferencing or to schedule a conference at a more convenient time.

SPED ADVISORY PANEL MEETING
The CNMI Public School System Special Education Program will be conducting a Special Education State Advisory Panel meeting on Nov. 12, 8am to 2pm, at the Pacific Islands Club’s Napu Room.
The meeting is open to the public. The agenda for this meeting will be passed out at the meeting.
