Loyalty, my loyalty! Where art thou, my loyalty?
Sounds like Romeo and Juliet. Heinz and David. Where does their loyalty lie? If they cannot have their way, they go the other route. Is that an island mentality or just Heinz and David’s mentality?
Primary, my primary! Where art thou, my primary?
Where is your money? Show me your money?
Primary will cost money, guys! Since 9/11, the whole world’s economy has gone down. Even the USA is billions of dollars in the red and here we are, a small island acting like the Big Guys! Ambition is good but if not coupled with realistic approaches, ambition will just remain a vision.
Gov. Juan Babauta and Lt. Gov. Diego Benavente are the deserving candidates for the Republican Party based on their accomplishments, despite the adverse effects of the global economic problems brought about by terrorism, subsequent war in Iraq and other things going on in the world.
Why can’t you just wait your turn and practice more humility and loyalty. Want to be like the Big Guys? Then practice acting like them and be real gentlemen. The Republican Central Committee has spoken. It’s time for the real members to listen. If they cannot listen, then where does their loyalty lie? Will they float from one party to another all their lives? Remember what the Bible says? You must either be hot or cold. There is no room in heaven for those who are lukewarm. What kind of leadership will you espouse if you don’t even understand the basic tenet of loyalty? What kind of values will you teach our kids and the generations to come? As leaders, you have a responsibility not just to yourself but to those you lead or will lead in the future. Teach them sportsmanship, humility and loyalty. Your principle is not at stake here. Only your ambition is.
Heinz and David’s support of the Republican Central Committee’s decision will surely revive our respect to them. So we urge them to support the Babauta-Benavente team. Then later, we will support you. That’s a promise.
