The Attorney General’s Office asked the Superior Court on Friday to revoke the probation of a man who had been convicted of burglary.

Twenty-five-year-old Michael Peter allegedly violated the conditions of his probation, prompting the AGO to request the court to revoke it. A favorable decision on the request could result in new actual jail term for Peter.

Sometime in June 2003, Superior Court judge David Wiseman imposed on Peter a partially suspended six-year prison term, of which the defendant has to satisfy four month of the term in jail. The judge also directed Peter to undergo a five-year probation.

The court had convicted Peter of burglary after he admitted committing the offense.

Assistant attorney general Jeffrey L. Warfield Sr. sought the revocation of Peter’s probation in a pleading he submitted on Friday to the court. (John Ravelo)
