The Department of Public Safety’s bomb disposal experts are currently in Alabama to enhance their skills in handling explosives.

Four members of the Explosives Response Team left for Alabama earlier this week, according to DPS commissioner Santiago Tudela.

Tudela said the XRT members would undergo training on handling weapons of mass destruction. He said the Department of Homeland Security is facilitating the training.

The four XRT members include Eric David, Regino Celes, Juan Sablan, and Simon Manacap.
