Verizon’s DSL promotion to end Monday
There are only a couple of days left before the DSL promotion of Verizon comes to an end.
Those who haven’t availed of the great deal can come to Verizon’s customer service center along Middle Road before Monday, Feb. 28, to sign up for one of Verizon’s DSL services and the installation fee will be waived.
Turbocharge, Supercharge, and Nitro are the three types of speeds available with Verizon’s DSL services.
Turbocharge is the fastest speed available running at 1024 Kbps for downloads and 768K Kbps for uploads. This service is available for only $135 per month.
The second speed available is called the Supercharge downloading data at 768K and uploading information at 512K. Apply now and this service can be yours for only $85 per month.
The Nitro speed allows you to surf the Internet superhighway at a rate of 512 Kbps for downloads and 384 Kbps for uploads. This service is being offered at an unbeatable price of only $50 per month.
There are many benefits to signing up for DSL services. First of all, ADSL is the best solution for high-speed access. ADSL can ensure the data rates necessary to handle all kinds of applications, such as broadcast quality video. Secondly, a user is always connected and does not have to wait to check E-mail or browse the web.
Due to the fact that there is no dial up involved, you do not have to worry about those busy signals and strange noises coming from your modem. Hence, you’ll be amazed at how fast you can download just about anything from simple files to complex video clips with the lightning fast speed of DSL.
Third, ADSL has proven to be easy to use. It is up and running following a single visit from an installer. Once the installation is complete, the customer simply clicks on their browser and they are connected. Nothing could be easier!
Fourth, The copper-based telephone network over which DSL operates is one of the most reliable infrastructures in the CNMI. It is very rare for phone lines to go down and when they do, service is usually restored very quickly.
Finally, this service is safe and secure because it uses the existing telephone system by supplying a private point-to-point connection between a user and Verizon’s central office. Users can make purchase, do banking transaction, or even pay their Verizon phone bill online.
By signing up to Verizon’s DSL services, you will receive an ADSL Internet connection, Dialup Internet connection, E-mail address with Webmail access, Technical Support, one Static IP address, Support and Maintenance of supplied ADSL Modem (rental), and one Free Domain.
However, the domain is only available for the Turbocharge Plan. Due to the amount of subscribers who have signed up for this service, it may take several weeks to finalize the setup for your DSL service.
Within this period of time, Verizon will assist in activating your DSL line, coordinate the purchase and installation of DSL modem and associated equipment, as well as set up your Verizon DSL Internet account.
