Golfers urged to help Little League
The Refaluwasch Golf Association has scheduled a golf tournament this coming June proceeds of which will be used to buy trophies and defray cost for the Asia-Pacific Little League Championship hosted by Tinian.
RGA president Jess Wabol said all golfers on island and off island are welcome to join the Little League fundraising golf tournament.
He said more details, including the name of the tournament, its actual play date, and venue would be disclosed in the next couple of weeks.
Wabol also informed all RGA members that the club’s qualifying round for its May Ace of the Month Tournament would be held this Saturday, April 30, at the Coral Ocean Point Resort golf course.
Tournament fee is $30 and slots for 16 players are available. Check-in time is set at 7:30am with tee time set an hour later at 8:30am.
Wabol said that the club is still entertaining the application of new members. Membership fee is $50, which is the same cost for renewals.
The membership fee covers the period from January to December. The RGA president is also reminding current RGA members to take care of their membership dues as early as possible.
