To Tina Sablan of Navy Hill
For the third time, you still didn’t get your facts straight.
It’s quite clear you made a mistake claiming Malite’s case as part of the corruption equation, but now it looks bad for you to take your words back. In your first letter you stated, “MPLA’s ludicrous 3.45 million payment.” In your second letter you stated, “I respect the Malites’ conviction…I do not object to the fact that the family is pursuing compensation for land that was taken from them.” Now, in your third letter, you stated, “I still think $3.45 million is ludicrous.”
Whether you had a change of heart or just confused with your facts, quotations direct from your letters to the editors will not change.
You also mention 3.45 is 10 percent over the entire land compensation. How did you come up with this overage? Hearsay?
You really don’t have a clue of what’s going on. You hear something and you write, all based on insufficient facts. We do not owe you any explanation for your enlightenment, but if you are so concerned and interested in this case (of which we’re not sure why; what IS your interest all about?) please set your facts straight from the right people.
The attorneys and Juan Demapan are handling the case as fairly and professionally as possible. You undermine their work because you don’t have the big picture of what’s going on.
It doesn’t matter how many times you will try to clarify yourself, what was written has been read.
