The 10th Annual Tournament of Champions already features a bunch of prizes that participants will definitely have their eyes set on, and organizers were pleased to announce Monday that more prizes have been added to the list.

According to TOC organizing committee chairman Rodney G. Klinge, Omega and Tag Heuer have joined the tournament’s growing list of generous sponsors.

Klinge announced that Omega has provided a Sergio Garcia watch, while Tag Heuer will be offering either a Link Chrono watch or a Limited Edition Tiger Woods watch. Combined, the value of both prizes is over $6,000.

Klinge said the watches would be offered as hole-in-one prizes. If not won, the watches will be raffled off at the Players Banquet shortly after the tournament on Aug. 7 at the Saipan Grand Hotel.

“A one-dollar raffle ticket can win a very momentous prize for those who win,” Klinge said in a statement.

The TOC unfolds on Aug. 6 and concludes the next day featuring competition in the Championship Flight, A Flight, B Flight, C Flight, Senior Flight, Super Senior Flight, Ladies Low Gross, and Ladies Low Net.

At stake are cash and in-kind prizes as well as a year’s worth of bragging rights. First-place winners receive $600, second place $500, third place $400, fourth place a DVD player, and fifth place $100 DFS merchandise coupon.

Top three finishers in the Ladies Low Net competition will also receive trophies.

Registration before July 29 will cost $200 and increases to $225 after the mentioned date. No entry forms will be accepted after 5pm on Aug. 3 and no walk-ins will be allowed.

The TOC also features “The Million Dollar Shootout” as well as various hole-in-one prizes such as brand new vehicles, two $75,000 cash prizes, a motorcycle, and a generator, among many others.

A Governor’s Sponsor Luncheon will also be held on July 22 from 11am to 1pm and a cocktail party for players and sponsors hosted by Johnnie Walker on Aug. 5.
