A team from Task Force Warrior is on Guam to further educate sailors about the Navy’s Sea Warrior program.

Sea Warrior encapsulates the elements needed to maintain an agile and responsive Navy. The program comprises the human component of Sea Power 21, the Navy’s strategic vision for this century, and helps provide the best qualified Sailors to meet joint war-fighting capabilities. Sea Warrior has three basic components: functional application, human beings, and distant support and warrior reach-back.

Task Force Warrior, which is headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, receives direction from Chief of Naval Operations to integrate, communicate, and accelerate the Sea Warrior program.

Additional information about the program is available online at www.seawarrior.navy.mil. (PR)
