Although retired from teaching, I’m still very interested in the welfare of teachers, students, and overall education in the CNMI. I have been involved with education as a teacher and federal program coordinator since 1963. (Before A/C) I was very pleased to see a call from ACT for a meeting of teachers this Wednesday. The timing couldn’t be better. Now is the time for you to get to know your fellow professionals in education. And if you didn’t notice, November is election time so the politicians are going to be interested in this group of voters. Oh by the way, I think there is still time to register. If you haven’t done so, drop by the election office and see my friend Greg Sablan. It is time for teachers to stop being reactive and begin being proactive to make our education system the best it can be. If you’d like to contact me I’m at ludwick@saipan.com. ACT, have a productive meeting and my thoughts are with you.
