The Marianas Institute of Filipino CPAs and Accountants, also known as MIFICPA, will hold its 11th anniversary celebration on Sept. 3 at the Aqua Resort Club at 6pm.

This year’s celebration promises to be unique and full of surprises. The incoming officers have prepared grandiose intermission numbers for everyone to enjoy. The event will be highlighted by the induction ceremony for the new set of officers for the year 2005-2006. Raffle drawings and special awards will also be given away.

Guests of honor include Philippine Consul General Wilfredo Maximo; Michael Johnson, chair of the CNMI Board of Accountancy; Jim Witt, vice-chair of CNMIBA, other officials of the Philippine Consulate in the CNMI, and other executives from different companies on Saipan and Guam.

Tickets are available for $20, to include a free souvenir program for the first 30 guests and a sumptuous dinner buffet plus the chance to win some door prizes. Certificates of attendance for all MIFICPA’s activities from the Accounting Workshop held last July 2 through the Accounting Idol held last Aug. 13 would be given during the evening.

“Please reserve your tickets now from any MIFICPA Officers or visit www.mificpa.org for more information,” the group said in a statement. (PR)
