While many of the CNMI’s multihued soldiers in the war on color have sat idle, the splats and welts associated with the popular sport of paintball will return to the Raiders Field soon.

Though there’s no specific date scheduled for the resumption of the ninth installment of the monthly CNMI Inter-Island Paintball Tournament, sprinters and snipers will be exchanging ink-filled fire with one another at Raiders Field in As Matuis in a matter of weeks.

According to Norma Rueter, the real colors of fake war will most likely be on display toward the end of September as teams from Saipan and Tinian vie for a slot in the year end invitation only tournament by dodging the multi-hued flurry of flak down range.

More details will be released soon, but the cost of registration will remain $10 per squad into the color war, with an additional $5 fee for marker rental per player if necessary.
