USSP Club and the king of beers Budweiser and Bud Light have joined forces in hosting a weekly bowlliards tournament at the USSP Club in Garapan.

According to USSP owner Rose Phillips, the tournament is known as bowlliards because the bowling scoring system is being used.

The tournament is played every Monday night beginning at 8pm. Those who can’t get there until later are still invited, as players can still join until 10pm. The unique game features singles and team play, with a maximum of 10 players per team.

Prizes courtesy of Budweiser will be presented to winning players. Also, all players can avail of happy hour pricing on all Bud family beverages until the end of the tournament each night.

“There is no entrance fee,” Phillip said. “This is just to exercise your shooting skills for your next pool tournament or league.”

The tournament kicked off last Monday with the Indians team winning with nine points. The Chiefs placed second with six points.

“It went so well [I’m] asking them to come back every Monday night,” Phillip said. “Anyone is welcome to join and there’ll be live music for enjoyment and relaxation.”
