Some areas in Koblerville and San Antonio had a water outage yesterday due to maintenance work by the Commonwealth Utilities Corp.
Some areas in Koblerville and San Antonio had a water outage yesterday due to maintenance work by the Commonwealth Utilities Corp.
CUC’s customers in Koblerville and San Antonio experienced the water outage beginning 1pm.
CUC said in a public notice that water supply was expected to resume to normal by 5pm, but CUC’s trouble desk said that repair work was still ongoing at 6:30pm last night.
CUC said its contractor would replace five 8-inch water valves in Koblerville.
CUC said the replacement work complies with the recommendation of the CNMI Water Task Force to enhance water pressure in the village.
